Drawing Room
The warm and cosy drawing room at the lodge is the perfect place to sit back and relax after a day exploring the Glencarron and Glenuaig Estate. The comfy sofas are centred around a working wood-burner, which adds a little bit of extra warmth to the already cosy cottage. There is also satellite TV for keeping up-to-date with the local news, and for finding out the weather ready for another day trekking the hills.
Sitting Room
A second sitting room is provided for relaxing days spent at the cottage. The large window is good for spotting local wildlife - look out for the eagles, which can often be seen soaring the skies and the stags that roam the hills and glen. A good range of books can also be found in the sitting room and enjoyed in one of the comfy chairs or at the desk.
Dining Room
Terracotta walls help to create a wonderful cosy atmosphere for enjoying meals in the dining room at Glenuaig Lodge. With breath-taking views out of the large window it will be hard to not get distracted, but this all adds to the charm of the cottage. The dining room is great for all occasions, with the entire group easily catered for around the large table, including causal family meals and birthday celebrations.
Kitchen
Windows adorn two sides of the modern kitchen, making washing up or preparing meals very relaxing as you watch out for the local wildlife. The kitchen has been beautifully decorated and equipped to a very high standard, making a holiday in this secluded cottage extremely easy. Appliances fitted in the kitchen, include a large fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, washing machine and dishwasher.
The kitchen also provides an alternative room for enjoying family meals with its large wood table comfortably seating up to eight. A period wood burner also helps to keep the wood warm on chilly evenings.
Double Bedroom
Under the eaves of the cottage is the large double bedroom with beautiful views of the Scottish Highlands. The wood floors add a nice touch of country charm and they blend in wonderfully with the sunny yellow walls and dark wood furniture, including bedside tables and handy towel rail.
Twin Bedrooms
There are three twin bedrooms at Glenuaig Lodge. All of them feature comfy single beds with wood frames and sloping ceilings that add to the character of the cottage. Plenty of storage space is also provided for hanging up clothes.
Bathroom
The first of two bathrooms features a beautiful roll top bath with hand-held shower attachment. After a day in the hills returning to enjoy a long hot soak in the tub is a guaranteed pleasure. The bathroom has a very pretty mix of colours with blue tiles blending in effortlessly with the white washed walls and wood floors.
Shower Room
Lovely pale blue walls and wood floors in the spacious shower room offer a wonderfully fresh atmosphere. The large shower is perfect for washing off the day and a heated towel rail ensures the room is always warm and cosy.
